Those are Kalloy AL-030 bars. I think I got them off Amazon back then. You can get them in either silver or black.

I lucked into this super-clean, barely ridden 2013 Giant Escape1, via my local FB Marketplace, for $135 !!! The guy left the bottle cage, frame bag,and frame pump on it, and tossed in a Cannondale helmet and pair of Garneau shorts. Its 9 speed, which I'm specifically a fan of, and have spare parts for. I installed a better seat and longer, set-back post from my parts stash. The shifters and RD are Alivio ( subsequent years dropped to Altus) . Since getting it a couple weeks ago, I've been riding it almost exclusively ( 2-3 hours on paved rural hills), and I'm loving this thing !!

Won't find Alivio on anything under a $1000 bike where I'm from

I'm the type of guy who loves to ROAM around...

Semi-impulsive buy on bookface marketplace. Practically brand-new, apparently it was a bike provided for under warranty from the store it was bought at, but the guy bought a new bike instead. I've been eyeing off a new bike for a while, but couldn't decide what to buy, so I've gone back to what I know. I had a Roam in the past and loved it, and I'm sure I'll love this one. Can't wait to hit up the trails over summer!

Here's my 2010 Jamis Commuter 2, that I've had since new. It even survived 17 months and all US lower 48 states on the front of my pickup on a bike rack. It picked up a few scrapes and whatnot, but it still rides like new.

Okay, couple month old post. Can't even find old Alivio?

Australia would be a nice place to visit, but like Japan better have deep pockets.

Here is my newest addition to my fleet, a 2016 Trek FX 7.2. I bought it off of Marketplace for next to nothing because it had two flat tires and the breaks didn't work. A couple hors with a hex wrench and a tire pump and it was functioning as it should. I added a couple pf old panders that I had laying around the house and it is all set to take over commuting duties from my venerable Trek 820. A keen observer will notice that just a few posts above this one is my Trek FXs4. I can't tell you how different these bikes are from each outer. The FXs4 truly feels and behaves like a "flat bar road bike" and the 7.2 is plush and comfortable and forgiving. I had to read the labels on the frame twice to make sure that it wasn't steel! It feels more like the spiritual descendent to the 820 than it does the ancestor of the FXs4. It looks like it might have lived a hard life before me, but on the other hand the tires are stock and look like new.

The Muhly grasses are in full bloom at the Weekiwachee preserve about an hour NW of Tampa. My Sirrus 3.0 does fine out here around the old limestone quarry - but the 32mm tires are a bit narrow for some spots. I'm considering 38mm replacements since the original tires are worn and bald after 2,500+ miles.

Finally got around to snapping a pic of my ~month+ old Roll 3.0 yesterday, thankfully im done w/ all the "add-ons". For the record, i do next to no gravel riding. Circumstances just happened to have me waiting at the bottom of a hill that happens to have a fun little gravel track around it when i remembered to get a pic.

2009 Kona Smoke. I bought it as a “kit”; a bix of parts, some wheels, and a frame set with a seized seatpost. Some of the parts were upgraded, some were missing. With some effort, here’s how it ended up:

New bars and stem are en route. I really like a Northroads style swept bar.
