Both batteries to work?
Ok, I finally discharged the batteries down to 30% per info on the controller.
I pulled the bottom battery off and started recharging it back up,
only have 1 charger at this time, this is on a Wart Hog MD 750 bike.
I went to check the mileage on the controller and I could NOT get the bike to power up, with only the top battery in it?
Is this normal, that both batteries have to be in place for the bike to work?
Tia,
Don

It could be that one battery slot is only a battery carrier, the other battery slot is the actual housing that powers the bike & display.

And to add some more updated info,
Went for a ride,
total of 37.5 miles, starting battery percentage at 68% per the display reading,
finished the ride at home, display reading of 30%.
Pulled the bottom battery and got a reading of 46.6v per test with a voltmeter,
pulled the top battery and got a reading of 133.3v per test with a voltmeter,
tested this battery several times, got the same readings, Bad Battery ?.
Let both batteries set over night, did not recharge them up,
I am Leary of these type of battery's, left unintended,
bottom battery read 46.1v via voltmeter,
top battery read 131.3v via voltmeter.
Total miles travel on these brand New batteries of less than 75 miles,
I have been peddling 95% of the time, in ECO mode and pas level 1,
using the first 3 gears (smallest), as most of my riding is done,
in the hills, on back country dirt roads, with this brand new Wart Hog MD 750 bike.
I think, I have a bad top battery?
Your thoughts and suggestions..........

Well,
I just got a email from Bikonit and they will be sending me a new battery,
I have to ship the BAD battery back to them in some type of special shipping case.
So my rides are going to be shorter than usual, providing the bad weather don't set in.

As an update to the above information,
y second battery was defective from Bikonit (Warthog), after I sent in the old defective battery,
they Bikonit sent another new battery to me, now I have full use of my ride.......
If the bad weather would stop (high Winds), I could get out more.......
