I know this sounds like a marketing gimmick but I have genuinely had the toughest time deciding to sell this one. It is such a diamond in the rough, it's outrageous. It would take an afternoon in the shop to bring this one back to life and get it in perfect riding condition. Or, if you were that kind of person, flip it for a few hundred more.
Overall, the frame is in fantastic shape. The paint is beautiful under its layer of dust holding up well after all these decades. All but one of the decals are in gorgeous shape despite how poor decals were on Italian bikes in the 80s (here's lookin' at you, Pinarello!). The single decal blemish is located on the drive side downtube where it has one small rub on the "O" (see image). A steady hand and some touch up paint could do wonders.
As visible, the steel is Columbus. It is either SL or SLX although I have not removed the seatpost to see if I can feel for the rifling inside so it could be either. Both are excellent, as you likely know.
The cable guides, notorious for rust, have no indication of any funny business and look beautiful. And although the chrome fork has a layer of light haze on it, your favorite polish/paste should cut through it nicely. The only area to note is the drive side chainstay. There is light surface rust but some oxalic or phosphoric acid, or heck, even the aluminum foil with diet Coke trick would likely take it off.
The components are all top tier, mostly Campagnolo, as one would expect buying a bicycle of this pedigree. I'm nearly certain this is exactly as the entire bike came from the shop. No parts swaps. All components are also still in very good condition. Aside from cleaning and replacing the Modolo hoods, they are all ready to get back onto the asphalt. The Mavic G40's are pristine and have oodles of good sidewall left. The Concor America does have two small marks on it but I wouldn't consider it too far gone for many more miles of use.
The sizing measures out at 53cm (C-T) at the seat post and a 53cm (C-C) at the top tube. Nice and square.

If you are interested in shipping, I am open to this but would only do so by dropping the bike off at a trusted local shop and having you coordinate with them on boxing and shipping. I understand this adds to the cost but I have simply backed away from boxing bikes up myself any longer due to liabilities and previous bad experiences. If you are willing to front the cost of boxing the bike, I am open to shipping.

Wow, that is going to make someone very happy. I had a beat up one that was really too large for me but totally enjoyed if for a couple of years before moving it one. I'm sad and glad that this is too small or I'd be making a drive this weekend. GLWS!

A. That it is not a Mockba...which is one of my few grail bikes.
B. That it is too small anyhow (I need a 56/7)
C. That if A/B were not true, I was too far anyhow.

That's a beauty and an excellent price! Only thing I would do (if my size) is replace those Equipe calipers with better Modolos...luckily it's not my size and I already own two Cioccs!
