Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Saddle Try Before you Buy Program

Hello everyone, are there any online sites that are still doing saddle "try before you buy programs"?

I remember seeing some threads in the past but could not find them.

A friend is interested in such a program. My road bike saddle is fine for now

Thanks in advance,
Richard

Competitive Cyclist used to have a demo kit, but I can't seem to find it on their website. Did they stop offering it?

I used to know that the Specialized dealers had a program on their saddles (like a satisfaction guarantee program )and I believe biketiresdirect.com does it as well.

Williams. I think you pay shipping.

My local bike shop has a similar program, and it was very helpful!

+1 on the Specialized demo program. The better Specialized dealers should have an inventory of demo saddle to try out.

I also saw an interbike interview with Sonya Looney, where she mentions that Ergon intends to do a saddle demo program for their new saddles.
