Any info on GT Pantera All Terra w/Triple Triangle Frame?

I found this GT Pantera All Terra with a triple triangle frame & Deore XT group set at a local thrift store today but can't find much about it. There's a frame for sale on eBay for $499(!), but that's about it - can anyone tell me about this bike & what it may be worth?
PS - One cool thing is it seems to change color in the sunlight (see photo 2 & 3) from red to orange!
Thank you!

Ebay for sale is meaningless. Look at bikes that have sold. Active ebay sellers get access to Terrapeak, that gives up to TWO full years of sales. Tires are rotten.

It looks to be a 91/92 GT Pantera AL based on the funky top mounted U-Brake and paint OK but nicer 90's hard frame a bit heavy.. Considering condition with easy to spot issues bad tire. likely bad DR's needing DR's or worse. some age neglect visible rust some chips and it looks like while clean it hasn't seen a drop of oil or grease in 30' years so it will need full servicing of all parts more than it's worth parts and labor. As is with cleaned up a bit $150 in major market $100 lesser one. $500 for the frame is dreamland much better near perfect examples of complete bikes have sold in $200-300 range. I will admit The powder coat laquer over the spray chrome under coat on these does look great. Had a slightly lesser model I picked up for free just because the paint looked cool fixed it up and gave it back to the thrift store.

$499 for the frame is a fever dream. Deore XT , Ritchey rims are good stuff. Not a big fan of the trigger shifters (prefer the earlier thumbies). As mentioned above tires are rotten and will need to be replaced. These bikes and other similar GT All Terra models are pretty widely available and I see them for sale from $50 to $250 depending on condition or sellers whim. With bad tires I would not buy this for more than $75-100 tops, just because another will always come along and add in new tires/tubes and you are at $175-$200 or higher. BUT, I am in southern California and these GT's are everywhere.

I'd second the '92 guess, though it differs from catalog spec in a few ways. I think the color is called Inferno Red.

Looks like a once cool mountain bike relegated to campus commuter duty with a hideous rack adapter to the rear stays. That model was definitely in the enthusiast grade category with good parts, but the parts are a bit scratched up so likely aren’t worth much for a part of out, but cleaned up and serviced would make a nice rider again

These came in Inferno Red, Ice Blue and Plum Crazy Purple. I do really like the paint finish on the late 80's early 90's GT stuff.
