In my experience, pix do disappear from CL, just not as quickly. eBay as well. Unfortunately, linking to pictures on these sites is getting more and more difficult, at least on our ubiquitous tiny screened computers (masquerading as phones). More and more i just take a screenshot, crop it, then post that. If the bike seems particularly interesting, i will use my big computer, grovel around in the HTML to find an actual image URL if need be, then download it.
