I am tempted to grab this myself but I have a project in the pipeline and I want to devote my energy to finishing it. In 1978 this was the top of the line Univega. This one that is being sold appears to be completely intact. This was when Ben Lawee’s operation was transitioning from the Italvega bikes that were made in Italy to Japanese made frames. The font still is in the Italvega style rather than the later Univega font that was used for a long time in the 80s. This bike was almost certainly made in the Miyata factory. Top shelf tubing and good components.
The consumables are rough but it looks like it was kept indoors so there is negligible rust. This one will clean up nicely for someone that jumps on it.

I agree that it's a bargain, especially with Prestige tubing. But the really hard-to-find parts are the hoods for those brifters, which are missing here.

Approximate Dimensions:
seat tube center to top approximately 56cm
top tube center to center approx. 61cm
Condition: Donated/ pre-owned. Bike needs repair/restoration before it can be ridable. Needs new tires and tubes. Front wheel has one damaged spoke (spoke nipple has pulled through rim - rim might need to be replaced). 3-speed hub is untested.
