Shimano SMBB52 Question

Qbp no lo5 carries this BB for Hollowtech II. They are suggesting MT-501. Does anyone know what the difference is between the two?

I think dedhed hit the nail on the head I don't think there are any real functional differences. I generally go Wheels Manufacturing for all my external Shimano bottom bracket needs. Good quality not super expensive considering made in U.S.A.but any of the HTII BBs from Shimano are generally decent quality.
