The Good Line - short film about gravel

Notices
Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

The Good Line - short film about gravel

Some may find this of interest.

12 minutes long. From the guy who founded and organizes Heck of the North in northern Minnesota. The video is as much about mental health as it is about gravel riding. It touches on the role of gravel (and riding in general) in some people's lives. Particularly that of middle-aged men.

Maybe this has been posted elsewhere, but a search didn't locate it.

"Emotional rust", what a fantastic term. Cycling, and fitness in general (ultra running before I started cycling), is definitely a huge part of maintaining my mental health. Humans are meant to be moving, almost constantly, the modern lifestyle that we have created is the exact opposite of what millions of years of evolution has meant for us to be doing on a daily basis. So it makes sense that moving and getting out in nature are some of the best things we can do for our wellbeing.
