Roadmaster, Olney Illinois, Nimble
Hello,
I just got an old Roadmaster Nimble bike from a house I purchased. The front label says Olney Illinois USA. It has a serial number L5 583 9. I'm hoping someone can share something about this model. I looked on Ebay and there are numerous components for sale so I think it's a desirable bike. Since I'm new here, the system won't permit me to post photos. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I looked up pictures of a Roadmaster Nimble online. It appears to be a department store level 3 speed bicycle worth at most $100 if in showroom condition

Sorry, not worth very much. Roadmaster is still operating in Olney, home of the white squirrels. I’ve visited and they are really cool.
Pacific Cycles now owns Roadmaster.
Edit: Just saw one pop up on my local Craigslist for $25.00. Looked to be in decent shape with some light surface rust on the crank that could easily be removed.

They left it there for a reason, it wasn’t worth moving.
