Thanks, it was a fun build of a bike shop attic-found frame. I rescued it from a mom n pop shop in Arlington, Va back in 2011, built it up with a cool mix of Huret/Shimano parts, and rode it as a general utility bike for years. It was such a solid performer I finally (after a beer) decided the original urinal-cake-green finish had to go. I'd been following the orange bike threads in here and chose and orange/ivory combo. I sourced some cool decals that bore no relation to the original frame model, and came up with this:

Fuelling up for yesterday's ride:

Those PBR "hard coffee" beers are the polar opposite of class, but are surprisingly tasty and work well on a Saturday morning.

Getting ready to get back on the 400 State Trail in LaValle, WI after a quick beer break! Yup, that’s my now empty New Glarus Spotted Cow on the bar in the background.

I'm gonna expand the scope of this thread to booze in general, since that's what my drop-bar fixed-gear MTB helps me pick up at my favorite store:

From my 1990s homebrew hobby:

Yes I know "Trouble Brewing" isn't very original, others have hit on that same pun, but I wasn't selling this stuff or even making enough to give to very many people as gifts, so it was mostly for my own chuckles.

I had a couple other bike-related labels but I seem not to have saved the final art (oops). Here are some work-in-progress that I added text to later, but I don't remember now what they said!

(Note the rider's position in the second one was later banned by the UCI)

Stolen art used without permission! Please don't sue me.

Good taste in spirits!

There is a running joke at work when at the end of the day I tell my co-workers I need to make a quick run to the “grocery store”. The requests for “groceries” start coming in left and right. Sales life…
