Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thanks Lezyne

Thanks Lezyne

Shout out to Lezyne (bike accessories).
They replaced my failed Enhanced Micro GPS unit, wow, nice!
The C unit is the same size, button layout, etc., however, the screen is colour and a bit wider, and the battery lasts longer.
Chapeau to Lezyne, product, support, service!

I had a very pleasant experience too with Lezyne support. I have a pair of the Smart Connect lights (front and rear) on my e-bike. We had a crash and the rubber button on top to turn the headlight on popped off, and we lost it in the mayhem. I contacted Lezyne support via email (sent them a photo of the headlight) and they shipped the replacement to me the very next day. They did not charge me (I was willing to pay). While it might be only 10 cents, their proactive and prompt service made me a customer for life.

Great to hear , I bought a set of lights not too long ago and they work great. They seem well made and are very bright. They weren’t too expensive and they plug directly into a USB port for charging so no cable to mess with.

Still carrying - and occasionally using - my Lezyne mini pump.
Lost the tail light some time ago, am now going with Knog road "Blinder" unit, which I like better, very bright, runs longer on a charge, is lasting better, is smaller and lighter.
I no longer recommend the Micro GPS (they are discontinued anyway); the battery on my replacement unit never met the spec, from there deteriorated to the point of unusable. I got just over a year of use on the replacement. The original worked for just over two years.

Lezyne still offers a gps unit that has all the features I'm looking for at a bargain price, but it's not the smallest/lightest unit, so I went with the competitor's unit, more money, however, I don't expect it will die in two years, and look, no/zero/none connection problems, no delay finding satellite, no battery life problems, none of that. The battery life actually exceeds spec, by quite a bit.

To be fair, I'd have bought another Lezyne if they still made something small, I mean small - I just don't want something much bigger than the old school magnet switch CatEye I used to run - I'd just be sure to verify the manufacture date, that is Be Sure To get A Fresh Unit, not something that's been sitting around long enough to be discounted.
