Valley of the Giants

A friend and I rode to Valley of the Giants on Tuesday. We parked near the old townsite of Valsets. We saw one logging truck and a semi with a crane on it's trailer when we started, but those were the only vehicles we saw all day. Route finding is a bit tricky and there's no cell service. Some of the junctions have a small sign with VOG on them, but a crucial intersection just before the trailhead is missing a sign. The junction is near the top of a long steep climb on the right. We made it a 28 mile ride which was about right for us, but the distance could be made shorter by parking closer or longer by parking further away. If wanting a longer ride, I'd recommend coming from the Kings Valley side by Fort Hoskins rather than Falls City.

Thank you for posting these. I don't have anything to say about that area, but I enjoyed the photos. 🙂
