As for the tremor in the neighboring island, it was only 5.6 on the Richter scale. Not even an earthquake in my book. The international media, particularly those from non-volcanic countries, always make these constant tremors a big deal. In my childhood I did survive a major one that scored 7.5 on the Richter scale (the scale is logarithmic, as you well know).
Another thing to remember is that Indonesia is a vast country, spanning one-eighth of the planet's circumferece, There could be a real catastrophe in one part and I wouldn't know it here in my own locality.

I wonder what language whoever planted this olive tree spoke? Almost certainly not Spanish. Could it have been Arabic? Or maybe whatever lost Germanic tongue the Visigoths spoke! Or maybe a far flung from Roma peasant dialect of Latin? Or some Hebrew sounding Phoenician language? Beautiful old olive tree/bike rack.

My new ZiZZO Liberté's first quick test ride after some mods & adjustments along the river Friday evening.
Mods done: Schwalbe Marathon Plus 20x1.75 tires, new handlebars, grips, mirror & bell, lights, pedals, bottle cage & a Selle San Marco SKN saddle.
I tried a pair of fenders in my parts box, but they look kind of janky, so I'll try something else.
I have the same bike. Are the tires hard to change out? I hated the grip shifter so traded it out for 8 speed trigger shifter, much better, and went with swept back handlebars so the grips are closer, love your saddle tho, sleek looking

Winter mods are an inexpensive rack & fenders. Once the weather gets decent again, I'll do some mods to make it lighter.
