Downtube Dyan

Anyone out there have one and any feedback? Looking to replace my 10 year old Walmart cruisers with a full sized folder since I somehow manage to get 3 full sized cruisers and 2 tandems into an under the staircase closet and would like more breathing room.

It looks like a solid option if you need a larger-wheeled bike. It has a wide gear range, and nice proportions.

Downtube sells quality, affordable bikes. The Dyan is a fantastic 24" commuter bike. I own the Downtube Mini, and it's solid. There's really no reason NOT to buy it. It even uses easily replaceable parts.

Thanks for the feedback, will probably go this route. Thinking larger because these are strictly for vacation and won't be used on mass transport. Should be a big improvement over the single speed cheap bikes and looks like it can handle some beach riding along the packed sand.

The bazooka folding cruiser is another option but much more expensive.

Changebike is wonderful, but way more expensive than the Downtube Dyan. $599 is a wonderful price point.

Thanks for the feedback, the adult "kids" ended up gravitating to the the Citizen Barcelona and two Miami's. Not the same value but in the end they are paying so...
