Hunting down an old post

Somewhere, at least I saw it, currently posted to, late 2012, early 2013 here in the touring forum. I have tried both searching here on bikeforums, getting as specific as they will allow me to, and tried a regular search engine, both giving me no luck whatsoever. So I will try posting and see if anyone can help.

The thread was about the 3 key days in a bicycle tour. Day 1, day 3 and day 12. I know I saw it between my first two bike trips(2012 and 2013), so I know the thread was posted to back then. I do not remember if it was started then or only brought up then but it was being posted to late 2012 until early summer 2013. I don't remember if it was someone adding it in as a comment to another topic or it was a topic starter.

Hopefully someone will be able to help me with finding that old post.

Thanks,

Key day is day 4 in my opinion. That's your first rest day if you didn't train before the tour.

Maybe a few details to ping people’s memory cells.
a tour (where) on maybe what (bike) might trigger something from so long ago.
I hope it said palatably when I suggest your not offering much to go on in your initial post.😊

Well, this isn't helpful - at all! - but we saw the only Roman Milepost in the UK still in its original position when we rode Hadrian's Wall.

Play around with a google search with this format:

site:bikeforums.net day 1, day 3 and day 12 2012 2013
You need to think of better/more keywords to add to narrow down the search.
