Curious what this might be worth. I pulled this off a bike with a roller brake, but I happened to have a set of Cantů’s minus the mounting bolts, springs and covers. I was planning on heading down to the coop and scouring the bucket of springs and covers to make it a full set.

While I'm no expert at valuing stuff, I would suspect that the Deerhead group you have is worth between $50 and $75 because it's not in excellent condition. The other problem, depending on lighting, the one brake lever appears to be black, while the other is silver, that is not a matching set if that's true and not just lighting playing tricks, thus your set could be worth between $25 and $50.

There isn't any collectable value in the Deerhead, they weren't rare either, but they did work great. I would say if you have another bike to put that stuff on then do that.

The shifters alone go for almost $100 CAD all day.

I've sold a couple sets and gotten about $300 out of them.

Well, that's about as diverse as you can get. In the end, what something is worth depends on demand, and if someone just has to have a set, they might be willing to pay more. Personally, $100 CAD for those shifters is ludicrous and yet another example that some have more money than sense.

If one is looking for good quality flatbar friction shifters then they tend to go around $100 with shipping.

To think, I have a 83 Schwinn Voyageur with Deerhead stuff on it...so why isn't the Voyageur worth more than $400 if the Deerhead components, which are in excellent condition by the way, are worth over that? Or has the prices gone up on that year of Voyageur? I can't find one for sale at this time to check.

Because parts can easily exceed value of complete bike. I've seen bikes linger for sale at a $150 price that had $300 in parts. Most people looking for "parts" don't look at complete bikes. MTB values can be even more extreme. A $150 MTB can have $600 in parts.

More desirable parts almost always exceed the value of a complete bike. Lower, less desirable parts don't.

I've seen bikes linger where just the value of the pedals exceed the price of the bike. Often vintage MTB bike pricing is relatively soft, while vintage MTB parts are HOT. Pedals, triple cranksets, thumb shifters, derailleurs, brake levers, stems, seat posts and wheels all can have value.

As a result, all of the parts for my builds have come from donor bikes. Often, the sale of the donor frame alone will exceed the price paid. Its one of the inefficiencies of the bike market.

Since it is mismatched pieced together and not matched set $100-125. I will get more money if you piece it out like 2x what you would get sold as set lot.
