Barlow Pass 38mm on the rear and not sure but probably a 32 on the front, I lost and extrralight 32mm to a sidewall flat well outside of Rocky Mountain House and wound up with a Panaracer spare for the remainder.

I like them allot because they act a bit like Gortex and in mixed sun and rain my gear breaths a bit and actually does a bit better than Hypalon or Vinyl. They don't do as well when things are flooding and you are ridding thru river bed.

Great looking Expedition and glad you had a great tour on it.
Both in 2008 and 2009 I did one month long tours on a 1983 Expedition.
It performed wonderfully although I had no original parts on it.
I had it outfitted pretty nicely with
a 3 x 9 Shimano XT drive train with the outer bearing crankset, Shimano bar end shifters, TRP EuroX cantilevers, and Chris King headset.
That 22T granny combined with a 34T big cog cassette was the only way I made it up some of those mountain passes.
I had mine loaded up with around 65 to 70 pounds, way too much stuff.
I wish I had it back.

Solo...
I was all set up with a fellow that I met on the "Crazy Guy On a Bike" website and he backed out at the last moment...So, I went solo on this one. Stayed at two "WarmShowers.org" homes and camped the rest of the trip until I got back down to RockyMountainHouse where I did an AirBnB.

When I looked at those photos I immediately thought that either the pivot pin was bent, or the alloy piece that it inserts into was bent since the pivots do not appear to be parallel to the main derailleur mounting bolts. That wide disparity between the cage and the large chainring is not normal.

The original fork will be metric thread. Unless you can source a replacement on the used market, a new replacement fork will be English thread. This is not necessarily a show-stopper, but using an English thread fork will mean replacing the headset with an English thread headset. Pick a fork with similar rake to the original, and a sufficiently long steer tube to fit your frame and headset, trim to fit.

They are the original SR SP-11 that came on it and I really love these pedals. IMO the best looking of their kind and very comfortable.
