70 degrees this weekend!

It's supposed to be 70 degrees Saturday and Sunday which means I will be spending more time than usual on my bike!

Yep, I'll actually be in need of my cycling jerseys this weekend.

Will you need to start out in knee and arm warmers and take them off as the ride progresses?

I usually wear a capilene base layer, but I think I may be able to get away without it this weekend. I'll probably start out with flannel shirt over my jersey and maybe bring my balaclava which I can stuff in my pocket.

I finished today's ride in Eastern Ventura County, and it was 84°. So nice to dump the leg warmers, arm warmers, vests and jacket. Some days I feel like Bibendum, even in California. Cooler weather and rain predicted Sunday for the Pasadena Vintage Ride. They say we need the rain, but I don't need it personally.

Wheeler Canyon turnaround.

55 degrees in Northern Utah this Saturday, but still good riding weather. Yesterday was 42 degrees and was amazing!
