Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It's interesting how big cars share some behaviors with housecats. My departed boy loved to doze off while on his back with his paws spread part. One day I went to a zoo in S. Jersey. A bobcat rolled on his back and did the exact same thing.

My wife and I decided to buy an RV and take up glamping. It’s got a little rust but I think it will be ok.

It wasn't running was it? There's no reason to do that, unless something is chasing you, and you're not already on your bike.

Yes, that’s what won me over, that and the bike rack on the back.

Going from LGA to JFK at rush hour is not nearly as much fun as it sounds.

YouTube. Ftw. My local.mechanic, just up the street didn't know how to change the cabin filter in the Fit But he knows how to change the oil and air filter and put new brakes on.
It was a five minute job.

Now that I know how to do it, I'll do it more frequently.
I keep the weed eater properly tuned also, via YouTube. It's come a long way since its early days. Kinda like Amazon, since it sold only books.

Technically, it's when the stride involves a moment when both feet are off the ground. Practically, it doesn't feel like running until under at least 8:30, and preferably closer to 8:00 flat. There needs to be a certain degree of springing off the ground instead of just pushing.

Doubt that it would make it over the Smokey Mountains.

No springing occurred during today's activity.
