With shorts and my thermal bibs on I have to hunch down to pull them down enough to pee. I was lazy and left my glove on I pull them down with. well Could not really go much just some squirts and it was getting painful. so I put myself away (made bit of a mess in my shorts as I could not stop it) took my glove off and when I started going I had a tiny bit of blood come out. the next time I went when I got home I had a little more. seems ok now. but man bibs are dangerous

Don't wear clothing that makes the necessary so difficult. Is there another profession where the work clothing is that inconvenient? OK, yeah, scuba and helmet diving in suits. But even my dry suit for windsurfing that I raced sailboats in had a fly. And that had a requirement far and away more demanding than any cycling clothing, to keep me warm and functional if I went into Puget Sound, water that is never warm.
"cellar door vs attic vent" works if you're built like a snorkel. Especially if you have the need to demonstrate.

Spotti and Przewalski bibs have mesh suspender straps that hold up well but are much stretchier and easier to pull down than some others.
But I wear cycling shorts as often as bibs. I don't notice any different in support or comfort, and shorts are more practical for offloading.

Nuclear industry. Multiple layers of work clothes covered by a tyvek or plastic 'air supplied' suit. You are expected to evacuate the holding tanks before another person dresses you and/or tapes down the outer layer. If it's during a critical job and you experience a 'bathroom emergency' you might have to just go in the suit and shower off later.
