Addiction 2021.3

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm living this right now. 2 months ago, we adopted a 14-month-old female German Shepherd. She's beautiful, smart...and a pain in the ass.

You .. um .. you are talking about the Doberman and not the neighbor, right? I'm not judging.

Feel honored. There are few things that are better than being liked by a dog.

I rarely do naps. Don’t know why, never have. I do usually get 8.5 - 9 hours of sleep each night so maybe that’s why.

I don’t know if anyone here has seen the Competitive Cyclist sale on Wahoo equipment, but I snagged a Kickr Power at 10% off with free 2 day shipping.

I've seen that before. Can't imagine a pool full of people I don't know trapsing thru the house to hit the restroom. Or worse yet, peeing and leaving their trash all around the yard.

I'd be worried about how airtight the contract is if/when someone drowns.

Would have to have a good release. Even though I've written them for clients, I wouldn't take the risk with my pool.

We've seen first hand how it just takes a second of inattention for a small kid to fall in. We've pulled two very young kids out of ours when their parents weren't paying attention. Fortunately we were paying attention.
