Sounds about perfect for the bike and it’s purpose! Sure you are ready to part with it? Haha.
Someone is going to get a wonderful and rare step through. Hopefully it finds a great new home!

to just sit and not be ridden. It will only go to someone who will treasure it like I do.

I wonder, does the paint look different in person?
When I take pictures of my Faggin Campione del Mondo they always come out disappointing because the camera fails to capture the cromovelato paint, and turns it into a flat red.

Added a picture of the bottom bracket and closeup of the broken braze-on to the OP. I reached the limit of 10 so posting the rear drop out image here.

Information from Cristina at Faggin
I received this response from Cristina at Faggin and posted to the market place instead of here: (huge thank you to jdawginsc for the suggestion to email Faggin!)
"The bike looks like new, it is very well maintained.
The frame and fork are made of steel. You should look under the bottom bracket if there are any numbers printed, from these numbers I can give you the information you asked for.
Please take photos of the details: rear vertical near the saddle where there is the faggin writing, the rear dropout etc."
And after sending her the attached photos this was her response:
"The frame with the fork was built in the year 1988 for our American importer, I see that it is tunuto (very well kept), the bicycle can be worth from 400/600 €."
