I just got a golf GPS watch. Wonder if there's any way I can use it for cycling.

I would like an appliance that would cook my dinner and also clean my house for me.
Seriously, though, if you're looking for something that will map out routes for cycling for you, I think you'd be better off considering a dedicated bike computer/GPS unit. Get a dedicated golf watch for your golf game. About the closest thing I could find was a Garmin Approach S62 watch, but I don't really know how useful it would be cycling (or golfing, for that matter.) Then again, it's the little windmill thing that always messed up my golf game. I could never time the windmill arms right to get the ball through the tunnel.

Try this.

I've not used that site...so, if it doesn't work for you, just go to this page and start looking at the watches. You'll find at least one or two that do cycling + golf.

In theory the heart rate monitor should work for either activity. And would really be lot more useful for riding. I haven't had any reason to wonder about my heart rate when playing golf.

It's useful in golf for obtaining distance to the green. Everything else is relatively superfluous.

Ooooh, someone with thin skin. This should be fun!
Oh, and it's "you're", and "suggestions" with one comma after help.

Sorry, I answered before I saw your post and the completely undeserved, illiterate and nasty response.

I'm not even sure who the OP was responding to, since there hasn't really been a snarky post in this thread.

Seems like a snarky, rude, and clearly unhelpful response to me.

I suppose you ride your tricycle to the miniature golf windmill thingie or have you progressed to training wheels. That is how your response reads.

The Venu 2 + is the latest version of what I have, and it is the first (and maybe still only) Garmin watch to have an ECG, so you can bike, play golf, and track your afib, all on a single device with an AMOLED display.

Wow, I actually did offer a suggestion. Sorry it wasn't what you were looking for. Must have been a deep cut to get through all that thick skin to strike a nerve.

Congrats - you've made my "list".

What kind of phone do you have? How about an app like Hole 19 or Golfshot? Can be used with a smartwatch if you have one.

My Garmin 745LTE and my Epix Gen2 both support golf and cycling. The Epix2 has more features and a better screen, but they both worked the golf side well.
