Tyre grip spray? Anyone tried it?

According to the faq, their product, which is a spray you can apply to tires to improve winter traction, can also be used on bicycle tires. Anyone ever tried it ? Not pushing this, no connection to the mfr but as an alternative for a few icey days here and there over studded tires ?

Have not used that specifically but…

Traction compound is legit. It was common when I started R/C car racing in the early 1990’s but was banned when I returned to it in the early 2000’s. Just lots of nasty volatiles you don’t want tweens to huff. When it was legal it was needful to win races. One guy I knew actually used WD-40. Not sure how that was supposed to work, I guess by transporting an oily substance into the rubber to serve as plasticizer. (This is not a recommendation.)
