'06 Trek FX 7.5 or '08 Trek FX 7.3?

'06 Trek FX 7.5 or '08 Trek FX 7.3?
Just picked up a '08 Trek FX 7.5 WSD for the girlfriend today for $375. Now I'm searching for a bike for myself. I've came across 2 bikes that caught my eye..but I'm not exactly sure which is more worthy.
Both bikes are in perfect condition physically and mechanically.
-'06 Trek FX 7.5 - $300 - Basically all stock with a few accessories not worth mentioning.
-'08 Trek FX 7.3 - $350 - All stock.
Overall it looks like the components of the FX 7.5 is better, but the frame material is Alpha SL aluminum. I'm not sure how that compares with the Alpha Black Aluminum on the FX 7.3.
Please give me your inputs.

I'd try to get the newer 7.3 for a few less $, if possible, but, it's still a good deal if it's like new.
You can always upgrade components as the OEM stuff wears out.

Get the 7.5, it has overall better components. Don't forget that to maintain a price point the components will be downgraded, year to year.

I own the 7.3 and love it. I have never been on the 7.5 so I can't comment on which is better. But I am curious what you ended up with!
