Rob,

If you're looking for help, the BF C&V forum protocol is to post photos showing important features of a bike, frame or part. You'll get far better responses from the knowledgeable members....

Here's an example of what C&V members like to see:

Its a white bike with a few holes cut in the BB shell. The over the BB cable routing may mean it was built in the ‘70s or early ‘80s. The crankset looks like Campagnolo but might be a clone.

My guess is either a late Special or early Gran Criterium

that looks like it could be a modified Cinelli SCM BB shell, but hard to be certain with just one photo and weird shadows (or is it dirt?)
If it's what I think then the panel that ordinarily had "CINELLI" cast-in has been ground smooth and these 6 oval slots milled in.

I apologize for not being 12 feet tall.

It is hanging in a shop and no there seemed to know anything about it. I took the photo of the BB the best I could from my phone. It does say MASI GC on the side. Faema colors.

If it’s a Gran Criterium, it’s an early one

From Verona- if the fork would be removed that will provide a close build date.
seat stay cap image would help.
good chance it was repainted through the Vigorelli- when repaints came through they stamped a tracking number- usually on a chainstay spigot but sometimes on the shell proper.
not a reference to Spinal Tap

note the +1mm lockring- face the shell and sometimes needed to achieve a flush fit
