Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Always clamp the seatpost. They're easier to replace than a frame.

makes sense. I’ve only used it one other time. Should have known better.

I have fond memories of those old clamps. Really fun when all the guts came apart.

Same here. Our grass goes dormant under those conditions, too, and did from the first week of May and all of June but it has now re-awakened.

Apart from inventory management, I was on wheel duty today. All I have to say, is that I dislike aluminum spoke nipples.

Local racer's wheel. In for a true. Wound up replacing four nipples.

That's one of the other things that I like about the 303S - brass nipples. When I had to send in the Assaults for the broken spoke, the nipple was broken, too; not apparent to me as to which caused the other.

Here's a little red one.
