What's the biggest thing you've hauled on your bike?
I wanted to let the forum know about a contest we're doing at my blog, AustinBikeBlog.org. We're asking people to submit photos of the largest haul they've carried on their bikes. Were' going to give away a Brooks B17 saddle to the winner and other cool stuff for 2nd and 3rd place.
So what's the biggest thing you've hauled on your bike?

Nothing too huge or heavy but at least I have good diversity-
My Sleigh Trailer
Shovel for volunteer greenway maintainance.
I don't have any pictures of it loaded but you can immagine what this thing could hold.
Brooms for volunteer greenway maintainance.
The red thing is a fishing pole holder.
Billy-the-boombox, my bike stereo trailer weighs in at over 50lbs. He doesn't look heavy but remember that car batteries are -quite literally- full of lead.

Thanks! I won "best decorated bike" at the ride it was built for.
A low quality video of some of the lights on the trailer can be found at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QlGdIAjwsk
For this years x-mas ride I'm working on a trailer that looks like a coal cart (little railcar used inside coal mines to haul the coal to the surface) with a sign that says I've been naughty. Of course I'll post pics when I'm done.

With any luck, you may be able to see: A refridgerator! Only had to go about 2 1/4 miles, with very little uphill, but the look on the appliance shop proprietor's face was priceless. Of course, the fact that I had to use a trailer has inspired me to want a bigger cargo bike.

I hauled a huge 8ft long hardwood workbench home on my tricycle, but unfortunately I forgot about taking a photo

Nah, the fridge is nothing compared to my good freind Chalo (who is in Austin, by the way). He towed (with a trike it's true, but some allowances can be made for the low speeds involved): a stage, with canopy, on which his wife was playing piano, with her band. Video here: https://tinyurl.com/5zsg8b They show up around 3:55, just before the human powered snake skeleton. Other videos may have better footage, but I was having a hard time finding them. Chalo rules.

Yeah, all the art bikes at First Night were wonderful. My children still talk about them. I also liked the pedicab race at the beginning.

Washer + Dryer = Nice Did I forget to mention this guy? https://tinyurl.com/38otxr Not as big or heavy as a stage with band (& piano), but Chalo wasn't riding around the world. Touring definitely implies riding up a grade or two. Makes me feel like a lightweight, but I still find it inspiring.

1) An exercise machine, Nordic Trac ski trainer with a heavy flywheel. (This was only hauled to the kerb to be picked up by the garbage man).
2) Almost half a cord of Firewood.
3) A 94 pound bag of Portland Cement.
