I should try to tuck in behind @WhyFi for the break. Maybe he'll pull me through to the podium.

Frame #1 has arrived. I left it at my house. I'm going home tomorrow. Frame #2 should be arriving this week.

I need to read more fantasy stuff. I mostly do space sci-fi stuff, and so much of it is ruined lately by me know a lot more about orbital mechanics than the authors. Like, I couldn't stand Seveneves by Stephenson, like, at all. Yet everyone else loves it (well, most like the first two parts, I think the dolphin people part three is mostly panned).

Storm missed Jefferson City, so I went racing.
Cat 4/5: 15th. Was a bit crap to be honest. Should have done better but then again I always say that. Last corner was a tight chicane and I got chopped so had to brake. After that it was not possible to regain enough speed for a good sprint. Should have been closer to the front.

M30+: This one started right after the previous one. Was a small field, maybe 10-12. They went super hard from the whistle and I got dropped pretty much instantly. Worked with two other dropped guys but one of them got dropped after a few laps and the other wasn't going fast enough. Decided to quit once we got lapped.
Commuted on the new bike today. So far so good, although I think it'll take some time to get used to the SRAM shifting. Not sure I ike it yet, but I do like having a brake lever that doesn't move sideways.

Welp, my radiator blew up friday on the way home from work. Should I post in LCF for now (even though I cheated and had the wife drive me to work today)?
This firmly cements my dearly departed 911 as the most reliable (and thus cheapest maintenance cost) car I've ever owned... 'cuz this forester certainly ain't.

It's always interesting to see how cycling is covered on TV news.
Bicyclist injured after Knoxville hit-and-run | WATE 6 On Your Side
Interestingly I was not approached for an interview. She didn't even bother finding a serious cyclist.
