Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

They held up well on the first voyage. Might need to adjust the centering on the holders slightly.

I'd like to. I'm too fat and slow at the moment.

Sort of a side note here, but I've always kept my tetanus shots up to date for obvious reasons.

You don't hear very often much about tetanus but my great-grandfather died from tetanus after being kicked in the cheek by a horse.

The weatherman said it would be warm with high cloud and NW winds. They lied. It is cool (12° Proper) and it is raining with SW winds. If this keeps up I will get wet on the ride home.

No, just being a nice guy.

(I don't think he has anything worth calling dibs on. At least, that's what gnome said... )

I'm installing a new Ultegra 6800 crank soon, going from a 53/36 to a 50/34 which means that I have to lower my front derailleur and worry about that backer plate do-hickey and using that weird gauge gizmo.

Nah. Now if you had said French horn, I might jump. We all know that French horns are a symphony orchestra's brass leader.

Not what I see and hear. Most concerts, the French horners are always present and active, while the trumpeters are either absent entirely, or sit on their arses most the evening doing nothing. Stamina trumps strength.

Ah, good! A new game. Count the Scars!
