Hurricane Govshut and bike commuting

Word from WABA and people on the Bikewashington yahoo group is that the NPS has closed several major bike commuter trails. Some people reported closure signs on the Capital Crescent and C&O trails. I haven’t heard about the Mount Vernon and Rock Creek Trails, or the Mall.
Has anyone run into trail closures yet?

Update - News TV was reporting this morning that Beach Drive, Jefferson, Madison, Ohio Drive and roads around Potomac Park were all closed. Guess that means no Hains Point riding.
Eyewitness report that the MVT was open in North Old Town.

I've heard that cyclist have been allowed to continue using the roads listed above. In addition, I've ridden the Mt Vernon Trail from the airport north to Lynn St both yesterday and today with no issues. There are no barriers or closure signs for the trail. The parking lots at Gravelly Point and Roosevelt Island are blocked off.
