Towson, Maryland.. Good Rides At All?

I am possibly going to be in the area of Towson, MD in early March. Mrs. 09Box is going to a conference over a weekend and I might join her and i'll probably have some down time. Is there any good riding down in that area? Prefer semi-less busier roads or even trails.

What type of riding? There are really good mtb trails in Patapsco State Park (Baltimore County, Howard County) as well as trails just north of Towson in Gunpowder.

For road riding, there is really good riding on the country roads just outside of Towson. Check out the Strava heat map for the rides around Loch Raven Reservoir. This is a hilly area, so be aware.

For rail trails, the NCR/Torrey Brown Trail is fantastic and extends 40 miles to York, PA.

I am interested in road or rail trails. The NCR Trail came up during a search online I did and I might give that a shot.

NCR Would be my choice, although I don't know about March.
A lot of good city riding in B'more. Gwynns Falls, Locust Point (Fort McHenry), Federal Hill, Fells Point, Canton, Paterson Park. I like to explore the industrial ruins out by Dundalk.

I was looking over the June Tour dem Parks route earlier today, so here's the ride map link.

Turns out i'm not going to be able to go down there with Mrs. 09box so I might try to ride the NCR at some point during the year.
