I'm really hoping that someone has a trashed rear derailleur that has that piece I need.

Campy pedal

Looking for the “destro” pedal to match my “sinistra”. Okay if it has rash like it’s mirror image sibling.

Love ya, mean it.

Badly Gouged My Simplex Super LJ Inner Cage!

On a gravel ride last summer, I broke the Sugino chain ring off the drive-side crank which threw my beloved Super LJ rear derailleur into the freewheel! I had been using this faithful rd since 1984 and after this awful accident, I vowed that I would somehow, someway restore it back to working condition. I have scoured Simplex Super LJ parts on eBay and other sites since then without any success. Hopefully somebody on the BF either has a replacement part (inner cage) or maybe an older Super LJ rd (5500 CP/SP) carcass that could be cannibalized. Please see photos below.
Of course, happy to reimburse and pay for shipping or if you are looking for a part to swap, I could check my stash.
Thanks in advance!

If you can bear the indignity, I suspect cage pieces from lesser Simplex mechs could be swapped in to replace the damaged piece.

Anyone here need/want the six cogs from a Regina ORO freewheel? It's the type with the two recess for a freewheel removal tool. Unfortunately, mine sheared when I went to remove it from the wheel. Therefore I took the freewheel apart to get it off the wheel. The locking ring was cracked at one of the dimples too and on of t he four pawls is missing along with whatever was used as springs for the pawls. The teeth of the cogs look to be in good shape.

Cheers

Re: Regina cogs.
You might check with pastorbobnlnh
He has use of them. I would defer to him.
If he does not want them I will most certainly be interested.

Try Wayne Bingham at Velo Classique : veloclassique@gmail.com He has Simplex parts available, hopefully, including an inner cage. @surfer Rosa's JB weld idea is certainly good. Alternatively, try this which dries metallic grey and is sandable: https://www.amazon.com/Hy-Poxy-H-450...8974762&sr=8-3

Bumping this for Roger M. My crankset didn't work for him, so don't hesitate if you can help him out.

Good idea! Never worked with JB Weld before but this could be a solution if I can’t find a replacement piece.

If you can measure the distance between the bolt holes I'll check my stash to see if I have something which will work.

You might have to use both pieces. Otherwise, the JB Weld suggestion sounds worth trying.

If Wayne cannot supply an alloy cage plate, I have a chrome steel one off of an LJ 1000 which is identical to the 5500 in configuration. Let me know and I will post it to you. (I checked it against my own LJ 5500 and it's a perfect match.)

FG,
If you are doing the repair for cosmetic purposes the JB will work....strength wise, perhaps a better solution would be a new cage, you don't need to drop the chain into the wheel.

Continuing the rd cage follies…

ISO: Suntour GT rd cage compatible with a first gen Cyclone unit. The upper pulley and circular nut would be helpful too, but I think I can make do without them.

HAVE: Lots o’ bike junk, dry goods, karma…

@Miele Man - did you find a solution? There are a number of Victory RDs on the bay with the same part, IIRC.

ISO 9v Chorus or Record right Ergo. Don't really care about condition as I have an a complete 10v that just needs the part for 9v.
I have nearly everything else to complete the upgrade except a lock washer for the cassette. Oh I need that too but don't know which one, if there is a difference, for the TI cassette hub.
PM me or @ me so I know there is a response, please!
