Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I meant we get about 25 pounds (maybe more?) of peaches from the one tree.

Bailer has been constructed and stowed. Pretty much fake lake ready. I still really want to get a centerboard uphaul though.

I don't know. Here is something that popped up on a search:

Dre is a paranoid person, he has weapons, such as nunchucks, machetes, and switchblade stashed in his house.

I'd think you'd spend a minimum of two days on Rodeo Drive.

I think not, mousie.

When daughter #2 said she wanted to go to USC, I told her to think twice, that there was a chance she would feel like Holden Caulfield and that most of the people in LA are a bunch of shallow phonies. I hope I am wrong but on a certain level I think I could be right.

Fun Fact:

Pencey Prep is loosely based on Valley Forge Military Academy which is quite close to me in Wayne, PA.

If you want a good restaurant idea, check out this place: TheGrill-BH-DinnerMenu_04_20.pdf (thegrillonthealley.com)

I know you are not a meat eater, but they have green stuff as well.

When we went there for dinner one night, Michael J. Fox was at the table next to ours. No, we did not try to talk to him or ask for an autograph, nor did anyone else that we saw.

I see you went high tech.

Does the centerboard pivot? If so, an uphaul may take a bunch of space down the center of the cockpit where you will be sitting.

That doesn’t mean they’re not friendly.

That is from one particular episode in the sitcom regarding Dre’s overreaction to possible home invasion.

Yeah it pivots. I think when I have crew, once underway I'd undo the shackle from the centerboard attachment point, and stow the line up under the foredeck

As for hardware I think I could get by with a block mounted to frame 1 a little off center to help keep the line out of the way when stepping the mast, maybe a fairlead on frame 2 to really help keep the line clear. Also a cam cleat on frame 2.

in this and prior pic the centerboard is partially deployed, resting on a crossmember of the trailer.

Maybe I'll post to a Flits Facebook group and see if an English speaker can offer tips

Her M.O. is usually to harass them until they realize it's not worth living under stressful conditions. She has an extremely sensitive nose and once she detects a critter in the vicinity, every time she's out in the yard she will hound them endlessly, pacing back and forth near their burrow under the shed or the wood pile, searching for a way to get in, until one day they just move out, possibly after a nervous breakdown.

She has no kills yet, although on this occasion pictured here she was so excited by the fresh scent in the air she ran right past him before she saw him, and the lucky groundhog managed to safely get back to his hole under the shed. He either left town or died of a heart attack in that hole because I never saw any evidence of him again.

I am still doing some telemedicine visits. It's easiest to do it using FaceTime. I am shocked by how many of my patients think "FaceTime" is a generic term for any video chat on any device. So many of them say to contact them with FaceTime but they have an Android device (which requires a different app to do telemedicine).
