replacing bottom bracket vintage bike
my old bottom bracket rusted and needs to be replaced. I attached the photos bellow (Spoiler), I would like to upgrade this BBs to a close cartridge style.
I'm unsure if it's possible with my actual frame, I can read the markings 30xP1 <52> EH, which i'm not sure what I need, my frame is 68mm wide, I think the thread is 35mm, and the lenght is 116mm.
I was thinking maybe the Shimano UN300 or something similar would be compatible but I'm not sure.
thanks a lot for your time and helps.

What squirtdad said. I don't think Shimano currently makes a French threaded Cartridge BB. I've used the Velo Orange one and it worked perfectly.

https://www.renehersecycles.com/shop...-taper-french/ Not exactly cheap. Made in Germany, may be easier for you to find locally.

Thanks a lot for your replies that such a bummer, those BBS are super expensive 😞.
I found one not overpriced for 34€ Neco HAL-920 with the French thread 35x1. it says it's for comfort and city bike, but I believe that anything is anyway better than what was built previously.
