Unique seatpost?

anybody know anything about this seatpost? First time I've seen one; came on a Campy equipped Condor. Says "ITALMANUFR" and is 27.2

I've seen quite a few seatposts with this type of rail clamp.
Usually found on seatposts with zero setback, used on bikes with more upright riding positions.
Here's a seatpost that takes the cake when it comes to being unusual.....

Both are unusual to me.
The first is interesting but I would wonder how well it clamps for angle.
The second is not as interesting in terms of the post but of the saddle! How much does that weigh? I would like to have one just for the ease of fit modification.

I don't know the model but it looks like it was inspired by the old Zoom seat post that was fairly popular in the mid-1990s ATB scene.

Yes, looks like a 1990's design to me.

The post name is "Italmanubri", ITM for short, Italian maker of primarily stems and bars.

Pretty good, the "guts" rotate freely in the clamp area, but you have to clamp it down pretty hard. I worry that it would fatigue the clamp eventually.
