Diamondback has a new line of ebikes

They are so new, most states don't have any yet. Most are $4100, which is the bad news. But they weigh about 46 pounds, are Class 3, and are well equipped. Something to look for.

And they’re noisy as all get out. Are all mid drives this loud or does Bosch take first prize?

Found it kind of a lame review, in that he didn’t test the gravel bike on gravel or the mtb model off-road. (Didn’t see him actually commuting on either of the commuters either. )

Some of the Bosch motors are noisy, my wife has a less powerful one. It's noisier than my Shimano motor, but not as noisy as that. I'd guess that if a motor is putting out a few hundred watts, there's gonna be some noise.

Those are literally the first ones in the country. That was more of a meet and greet than a review. What I found interesting is that they are fast, and a little lighter than most of their direct competitors.

I imagine he'll do a proper test one of these days.

Also the commuter with a lamp has it pointing up into the sky. Were it aimed toward the road bed, would do a great job illuminating the front tire.
