Terry "City Bike"
I'll try again. This 47 cm 1985 or so Terry didn't receive any offers at $250 with drop bar and stem (Nitto, no less), so I'm trying with flat bars. What's it worth? Shimano 6-Speed 105 parts.

$250 is a fair price it should sell at that . I would suggest you raise the seat some and lower the bars a bit for nicer top line then take some better pics outdoors with nice background.

That looks like circa 1987-1989 Terry Chrom. If so, these were contract manufactured in Japan and we should be able to determine the exact year from the serial number.

Thank you both. It's such a neat little bike and the cheapest one on ebay was $500 last time I looked, that I thought it would sell easily. Guess I need to try harder.

Well if it's not selling be sure in to mention this is high end bike for smaller rider 5 foot give or take. I would even put it in the tag line on CL if selling most buyers don't read past the tag line.

I pedaled it around (looking clown-like; probably because I'm 6'1", but maybe I always resemble a clown); it's the smoothest riding bike ever, and sub 21 pounds, but nobody seems interested. I'm thinking of making a "cruiser" with high bars and seatpost, but it would languish since I don't ride at the beach or on the road and neither does my wife, or put some cyclocross tires on it and putt around off road. Guess 1&3/8" might fit.
