Paint adhesion vs weld failure on Fuji Touring steel frame
I noticed some paint missing from the edge of the weld on the top tube and again on the seat stay. Opinions on this being a weld failure vs poor paint prep? Everything feels solid.
If it is a weld failure I’m thinking it wouldn’t result in a catastrophic failure so I could ride until i
t breaks.

That is neither a crack nor a paint adhesion issue. That was clearly abraded by something. Do you have a saddle bag or frame bag that is mounted in that location.
