While I have ridden in the mid-30’s and above 100.
My current “extreme” range is between 60 and 90… or so.
I prefer being between 65 and 85.
70 to 75 is just about ideal with 72.534* being approximately the best riding temperature.

In the past 6 months I rode when it was 0 degrees Fahrenheit and had a splendid time. More recently I rode in the upper 90’s.

Roughly -25*C to more than +30*C I would gladly ride in the cold before the heat.
I'd make it an even 100*C temp range but it doesn't get cold or hot enough here to round it out.
I've lived in places where it either gets below -50 or above 40 but not both at the same time. FYI at -50 there is no "squish" on a snowmobile seat until you lose enough heat through your clothes to warm the seat up and soften it. LOL Car seats are a bit better as there is a heater that may eventually help.

For me being a 68 year old doing short rides in Central Texas its gotta be dry, its gotta be daylight, and its gotta be between 48°F and 110°F...

I have ridden in temperatures from -20°C to 33°C. But these days I wouldn't willingly ride below -15°C or above 30°C. Below -15 is more likely, but then I'd need some special clothing which I don't have, and it doesn't get that cold very often where I live anyway.
Comfortable riding temperatures for me are anywhere between -5°C to 23°C.

It is warm in my neck of the woods (Midwest USA) these last few days, pushing 100°F. Where I reside, the mercury doesn't rise much more beyond that, rarely eclipsing the 100° mark, albeit usually saturated with humidity.
On my commute home from work, this got me thinking of the range of temperatures I will encounter over the course of the year, which led me to think of the absolute extremes of the temperature spectrum in which I have ridden throughout my days.
Knowing that we rarely see over 100°, and being that my commute commences on bicycle year round regardless of weather, I will put that mark as my high temperature. We had a good cold snap a few years back that dipped down to -30°F (with some wicked winds, but wind chill doesn't apply here).
Looking at the differential between the two extremes (+100, -30), this puts my temperature riding width at 130°F.
This got me wondering how this stacks up against other people's riding in different environments. Surely somebody is encountering a wider range in their riding, but where?

I hate cold so my range is about 65 - 105. I'd ride if it were warmed, but it seldom gets much above 100 here.

I was thinking my temperature width would be pretty narrow. I'll ride in hot weather and did 85 miles in a 106 degree heat index (I forgot what the actual temperature was). And while I don't mind running in the cold and have ran in temperatures in the high teens, I was thinking I don't enjoy riding in anything below the mid 50s.
I like to bring an old bike purchase home air up the tires and take it for a spin before doing anything with it just to say I did. Then I remembered I bought an old bike a couple of years ago and we were in the middle of a cold snap that didn't get above freezing for about 10 days. That spin on that bike through the neighborhood at a leisurely pace wasn't terrible. I may rethink how I feel about cold weather riding and just buy the appropriate gear.

Im a "sissy" -- i wont go out if its less than 50 degrees unless its an organized event i am already pre-paid on - anything over 90 and i';; just ride the trainer inside

The forecast for Sunday here is 103F... I expect to be riding. Here is the current NWS forecast...
"Sunny and hot, with a high near 102. Heat index values as high as 107. Breezy, with a south wind 17 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph."
My coldest ride ever was at -35F. I have 45NRTH CobraFist pogies. The real nutcases ride year round in Winnipeg or Edmonton.

i will happily ride between 45 and 75 degrees. which, thankfully, covers something like 99% of the daylit hours here.

When i lived in Indiana, I commuted in temps from -20F to 100F. Those were rare and extreme days though; 10-90 was closer to normal.
But I'll claim 120 degrees then.
In west Texas, I did a 10 mile TT at 115F, and on occasion commuted in the 20's. So a 90 degree range.
Now in Portland, OR, my typical range is 35 to 85, but I have ridden in extremes of 25F and 110F for a 85 degree range.

Well, I now go strictly by heat index.
And my limits are around 92-95f before I have to power back.
When thermal limits hit before cardio limits, you really have to be careful.
And the second you stop for a break and the induced wind disappears, the heat hits like a truck.
(why did I stop!!)
