Yesterday was a periodic reminder that a number of drivers don't know how to share the road with cyclists when it comes to right turns.
One car did the annoying pass and then make an immediate right turn routine.
Another passed right before a traffic light (at the end of the green light) and then stopped. I think he was signalling for me to go by (on the right) but obviously I'm not going to pass on the right when I don't know if he's turning or not.

We have them here. The inside lane and the outside lane are inviolable. There are any number of flexible lanes in between. A challenge, but doable, on a bike. It helps to point to where you are going.

I love it when drivers magnanimously yield their right-of-way - just stick to the script so we all know what's going on, mmkay? And in your case, if you're going to yield, why not do it when it's more sensible, like oooh, before passing the cyclist?

it's that magical time of year when everyone convinces themselves that autumn is good because they get to wear a sweater

We'll never win that one. The average driver is just too stupid to understand that if they drive like they are supposed to, we will ride like we are supposed to. I don't want to be depending upon what I think a driver means. I want a stop sign to be a stop sign, and no sign to be just don't stop.

As bitcoin continues to rise... I need to scour my e-mail for past logins for some of the mining sites that I was using. Maybe I left a few coins in one of these accounts - too bad I offloaded ~400 for gas money back around 2011.
Definitely lost ~50 to a hard drive format. Didn't think anything of it at the time.

I need to order some beans, bring the grinder into work, and then also bring the Aeropress. I'ma do all those things, excellent ideas.

A) I deal with Photobucket, there is no more annoying photo hosting site. But yes that is a problem, before I upload a picture here I have to deal with a photo hosting site? WTF? Not on EVERY OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA SITE ON THE ENTIRE INTERNET. 2004 called, they want their web site software back.
B) The forum's attachment feature is lamer than your 'what's the problem' response to my observation that BF can't even manage direct upload of photos to a social media site, which in 2017 is like a car without power windows.
