Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

The industry and all the gear websites will tell you this standard is obsolete and sucks. QR has been used for decades and will continue to work well in 2022 and beyond. I have no problems with Thru axle and own these bikes but my QR bikes work just as well. Do it!

No issues with disc brakes and wheel removal. Mechanical Avid 7 brakes are easy to adjust and this is on my Motobecane so called cheap bike. Over 10k on this bike and still rolling. QR axles
