My parents smoked heavily when I was growing up in the 60's, walking into the bathroom or going for a ride in the car was a definite nicotine buzz, I mean Pall Mall and Chesterfield smoke fest. I watched them both die COPD.
I never took up the habit, but developed asthma in my 30's, right now I struggle to break 95 spo2. Gee Thanks Mom and Dad.

Why? He doesn't have to be OCD about his body anymore. Probably eats ice cream and has unprotected sex with multiple partners too.

As long as he/anyone can do it/vape without affecting the people/environment around them, go for it. He/they can't however, so everything around him/them has to deal with the 2nd hand smoke. I'd much rather he/anyone go smokeless instead for their tobacco fix. As nasty as those habits appear to be, at least they're not getting into my system.

I don't smoke tobacco but I do smoke weed and I found after a long ride it does help with pain, relaxes me, and actually helps me recover. Granted I don't smoke and ride, it's more like having a beer after a ride but I don't drink anymore
