Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Maybe you should head east (and south), become a Coastal Carolina fan.

I find that only the very finest supermarkets have stuff stacked to the ceiling, and force you to walk through a maze (past all the crappy stuff you don't want to buy that's on sale) before you can get to the checkstand.

This place is the best supermarket chain that we have here in CA. They are also in a few other western states. Employee owned, cash or debit only. No credit cards accepted. Great produce and bulk foods section. Low low prices. Open 24 hours.

Winco is the best, indeed.

The no credit cards policy is a bit of a bummer though.
