Some unexpectedly beautiful stuff so far.
Allow me to lower the standards a bit….
Simplex on a Schwinn
Rivendell Silvers on a Super Bodge project. Do these develop left-right play frequently? Thinking of buying new Dia Comps instead. Or maybe adapt some Shimano Z401 stem shifters to DT. Thoughts?

As a SunTour fan, I picked up these Blue Line shifters somewhere. I think I just got the levers and associated hardware, assuming that they fit on standard downtube shifter bosses.
Umm... that didn't turn out to be the case. I assume they were intended to mount to clamp-on shifter bosses.
I spent a little while thinking about how they could be modified to fit on standard bosses, but eventually just put them back in the parts box. They still look pretty neat, so if anyone knows of a good way to fit them to standard bosses, please share.

This is awesome. Is there a guide to follow? Or how did you figure it out?

Does anyone know what levers these are? They're on a Benotto 500 if that helps. Sorry, not my photo.
Edit: Shimano Exage Sport?

Its pretty straight forward
The SIS unit is pretty much identical across all the shimano Bar Con and downtube shifters. (6 -7- 8- 9-10 or 11)
the 11 speed bar does not give you a friction option.
having a few version of the bar con and DT shifter does help.
hardest thing is finding reasonably priced donor parts .
