That frackin bridge was in EVERY TV show in the late 70s early 80s! Little House on the Prairie, the A-Team, Dukes of Hazard, TONS more. Haven't seen it in a long time though. I sure hope it's OK.

I don't have a picture of Gilbert Brown, but he crushed a little girl's bike, bought her a new one.
He rode her bike every year, and when he was going to retire during camp one year, she cried and cried.
It worked. He stayed another year.

The most prized photo, which I also couldn't find,

Many years ago,mid 60's Rod Serling gave me a bike to give to my kids. It was in his work trailer on Cayuga Lake. I have no pictures but it is long gone anyway. He wrote his TV plays in a old trailer set next to his house.

Is he checking the price tag?

How does she get pumps to match her bike? And are they SPD compatible?

I'm surprised no one's posted a picture of Robin Williams- he's actually quite the enthusiast...

As was Katharine Hepburn...

As for Audrey Hepburn, she was Dutch and a lifelong cyclist.

IIRC, Mr. Kerry has ridden the Pan Mass Challenge, perhaps this past year. That's roughly 200 miles in two days for the entire route, though I don't know how much he did. On the other hand, one can argue that everything a politician does has some small amount of political-stunt motivation.

HRH Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands and her husband, prince Claus.

Contrary to her ancestors, who had to make do with horses, HRH is portrayed astride a bike.
