Hello, if you have seen this type of hardware for sale seperately before, lemme know. It is the type of clamp on the rack below which fixes the rack to the strut. It doesn't have to be from this exact rack. The rack manufacturer of the one pictured does not make that hardware accessible seperately. Merci !

Who makes that rack? Not one I have seen but I would reach out to them and see.

You might try other rack manufacturers that use a similar setup and see if they sell replacement parts. The diameter of the rack struts are likely to be different though. You might be able to either shim or file out the clamps as needed if they were close enough. I think Axiom is one manufacturer that uses a similar strut on some of their racks.

either one of these should work.............with the addition of a couple P-clamps.....or just bend around the legs and bolt together if you're not worried about aesthetics.

the main rack legs carry the weight. the struts that attach to the brake bridge or seat-stays are for stabilization.
note that YOUR rack lets you use either the two side struts OR the single brake bridge flat strut.

one of my racks came with the same sort of rod stabilizers, but much too long for the bike frame. instead used a 5" stainless steel mending plate from home depot. no prollem after thousands of miles on rough roads totin' 25-35 pounds.

Hi there, thanks for the links to those struts. One can make anything work with a little ingenuity, for sure. I thought if these "strut slide clamps" were available someplace then why not use them. I intend to use them on a rack which is not yet on my current ride. I haul a heavy oversized milk crate on back.
