As much as I hate the "S" brand, they did make some really nice carbon forks. Huge tire clearances and a fairly good ride. I low-key want a tricross singlespeed, but I'd have to paint it to ride it.

Not sure your issue with Specialized unless you are a dealer right now. They do make solid forks I have a similar era canti carbon fork from Spesh on my parts hybrid and it is fantastic. They also replaced an 11 year old Langster that cracked at the bottom bracket and I can't complain there. Yes what they are doing lately is absolutely horrible but that is mostly towards dealers. Like all brands on the bike side of things they make some oddities and stuff that are garbage or have silly proprietary parts but not a reason to throw out the baby with the bathwater.

Fortunately I"m out of the industry, but Sinyard has been pissing people off for a long time before deciding to leave. 90% of what they sell is marketing, There are always so many other bikes at any given price point that are spec'd better for the money. 20yrs in and around the industry and I"d never ride one after dealing with them. I feel the same about GM products.
