Just 20 years old, but I think that makes it a classic:

More detailed pics on pedalroom.

1977 Motobecane Grand Record

Just picked this up, pretty much in this condition. I polished a few things and mounted new tires and pedals. Other than that, all original. Looked like it had less than 10 miles when I got it.

beside the Rhine by Flowizm, on Flickr

A late 1950s Bismarck. German made, 3 speed, with German components, all original except for the seat and tires. Bought for 65 euro at a flea market. I'm going to clean it up and make some minor adjustments but it's pretty much staying as is. Picture taken in Cologne, Germany, brought the bike to North America.

Got this today at a thrift store for $25. I'm kinda geeked! Don't know a thing about it though.

Wow!!!!!!!! Lots of great looking bikes here. Just getting back into riding again and purchased this Moto on ebay. Reminded me so much of my 1978 Super Mirage I couldn't pass it up. Looked for a few months before finding one in just my size and the condition I wanted. Hope it meets with your approval.

does this count?

39x18 single speed 42x16 fixed (chainrings are this way because the white industries hub has a different chain line on both side)

Please angle your bars down so the lower drops are parallel to the ground, it'll look SO perfect. I love it!

I agree, Motobecane has always made some of the most beautiful bikes with quality paint work to match.

Can't recall if I posted these before, but here are updated pictures of my 1986 Italian Faggin Road bike with Shimano 600 and 1991 Trek 1420 with more modern Campy 10 speed. More detailed pics on pedalroom.

Here's my current stable. The last one is neither C nor V but I included it anyway. The second to the last bike is borderline; it's a 1994 model, started life with a straight bar. From oldest to newest:

1966 Raleigh DL-1

1973 Schwinn Varsity

1983 Raleigh Super Course

1994 Nishiki Sport XRS

2009 Schwinn Cutter

Just finished this:

Sorry, Daddy can't help you with that one. All the parts were a 60th birthday present from my wife, including the custom wheelset. Chrome is original but the color & decal work is a respray by Al Wanta. Also the only one I've ever seen like it, pretty sure it's 753 because of the seat cluster (even though it arrived with a battered SLX decal on it), although I guess it could also be a mix of tubing. Rides great, been putting a lot of miles on it lately and could be next year's long distance rider. Few more snaps:

Sometimes I just sit and stare at it.

Beautiful! Looks just like my '72 chrome Paramount P-15, except my RD is a Campagnolo Rally. Are those Capagnolo bar end shifters, or some others? I was wondering if it would be worth it to switch to bar end shifters from my Campy NR downtube shift levers. Are your rims 700C or 27", and are those Weinmann 750 centerpulls?

I'm quite new here but seeing the superb Merckx bikes from other members gave me the idea to post this one. That's a 10th Anniversary that I found in Belgium (I'm Belgian but I live in Canada) for a very good friend of mine here in Montreal. He's quite happy

Pretty bikes aren't they!

We bought and rebuilt one for a friend this last summer.

Does she have a Grammo stem?

Wow, these are all much too nice. Here's the late 50's early 60's Schwinn Spitfire that my older sister and then I learned to ride on. Now in daily use by one of my daughters after a 40 year "rest". New tires, a couple of new spokes, trued the wheels and greased the hubs, BB, headset etc.
